The Gabion mailbox is 50% mailbox, 50% gabion planter, and 100% awesome! The main body is made with 14 gauge steel and comes pre rusted with 4” laser cut address numbers. The gabion planter box filled with rocks, acts as an anchor with a 10”x10” planting space. When installed at curbside, the Gabion mailbox should be placed 6-8” back from the face of the curb and 48” from the ground to the top of the mailbox. The Gabion comes empty giving you the option of choosing the rocks you want to fit your landscape.
